Cooking at home

My wife is from France, therefore, I eat well on a regular basis. Homemade seafood or gourmet meat dishes with numerous varieties of creative marinades and elegant culinary adornments are commonplace in our household.

On the flip-side, I'm mostly Irish and somewhat challenged when it comes to cooking - unless it involves potatoes or Guinness - although I have learned to make a few things here and there over the years. With that in mind, I decided to cook Chilean Sea Bass with a breaded-herb topping recently to try and re-pay my wife in some small way for all the great meals she has provided us the past few years.

Here is a captioned photo diary of how things went:

I never actually used the towel hanging over my shoulder, but thought it made me look a little more like a chef:

So far so good:

The meal is in place - not going to win any Food Network challenges for presentation, but a little better than my typical dinner tray in front of the TV:

This is where the picture of us enjoying this fine meal would have gone, but my camera bugged out and I couldn't retrieve the last few shots....oh well, at least the food looks like it may have been good!
